Default "wet dog shakes" cured !

Just thought I'd pass this along. I've had intermittent shakes on my nano for a while now. I've replaced the feathering shaft several times to some degree of success but the shakes always come back. So I thought maybe the tightness of the shaft itself? Since it changes every time I replace the shaft. Anyhow, over time I have broken 2 canopy mount pins off so I finally decided to replace the frame. When doing so I went ahead and replaced the swash even though I didn't "see" and bent areas because it was original and I have crashed it about 100 times over the last 4 months. I figured why not, I had a spare anyway. Boom! shakes are completely gone, even during mild and sharp altitude changes. Fixed it by accident

For me the shakes, are when servos are dirty! Just blow them with a air compressor very carefull and no more shakes for a long time.

But i will get an alloy swash when mine gets broken for the second time!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! the servo cleaning guides I've seen seem way too time consuming.

Here's my guide

1 - Pick up can of Deoxite
2 - Spray
3 - Set can down
4 - Fly, be happy

I used to repair stereo's back in the 80's and 90's. Scratchy volume and tone controls = $20 easy money.
De-Oxit was my best friend.

It only takes about 15 minutes to break the servos down to properly clean them. Sure is less messy in the end!
