Default KDS SV Tail boom setup

Hi to all KDS fans i'm still rebuilding the sv taking forever but enjoying taking my time on it and i have a question regarding the tail boom installation ,as the manual does not show the boom in relation to the mounts and when i got the heli it wasnt set up at all so i have no comparison. Feel free to add a photo of your sv if you have the time, Cheers and thanks Chingie p.s with the old boom there are clear markings where it used to be in the mounts but since rebuilding this bird a lot of stuff was wrong like motor mount upside down and belt was running outside of belt pulleys then to tail instead of in between pulleys then tail? Could he have been tweakin the last out of a stretched belt perhaps.? Thanks

Not sure why anyone would run the belt outside of pully's unless he had the wrong belt on it. CopterX makes one that is belt drive almost the same as KDS but I think that belt is just a little bit longer. Not sure though.

Tail boom is put in and the belt adjusted, so the belt adjustment is what tells you where the boom should set.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, the state of it when i got it was a loose fitted boom servo wires all hanging off dead servos 2x few other things. Looks like it was running it like that tho as the boom has marks on it from the belt rubbing on maybe it had stretched . Cool i'll adjust it to the manual specs as you suggest, Thanks again chingie
