FBL Head for .50 Quality?

I read a review on amain that the flybarless head will bind at full collective movements above 12degrees. Is there any truth to that, it seems to be a fairly reasonably priced head. That review was in 2009 though.

HI,

I think this may be beacause the person writing the review did not have the swash driver mounted in the right spot. It seems like it should snug up against the hub but it dosn't. I can post a pic of mine if you like

I am running 12.5 degrees with 10 degrees ail and ele no problems and no mods.

Personally I would not buy this head. I have a Frenzy. 50 and if I decide to go flybarless I will most likely use the RJX head or possibly the new Chaos head (compass copy) when it comes out. I have RJX heads on my 700e and Atom 500. They are great heads. and can be had at Hobby King for a very reasonable price. I believe the. 50 size heads are around $70. The quality is much higher than the frenzy stuff for about the same money.

Thanks to both of you for your input. I ordered the .90 head, I really like the design of my compass head but they are pricey and only the 6hv head has the 10mm shaft. I needed a .90 size with a 10mm shaft. I do like the rjx but need it this week so no hk order for me.
