tail bounce
Hi Guy's
I've just over from nitro to electric. got the heli all build and 3gx all set up, on the test fkight i found the tail would bounce when turning to the right, its fine when turning left. running 4v on the 3gx at first then updated to 5v and its the same. if i lower tx gyro gain it get worse. the only thing i've build different from the instruction is put the servo on the left had site of the model if your looking from the tail thanks for any advise |

Most likely you need to lower 'Rudder locking Gain' which is found in the 3GX software under the rudder parameters tab.
Also set rudder delay to zero, to do that adjust to zero then leave the 3GX to time out of set-up mode. If you press the button the delay jumps up again.

Bounce
I have been battling the same problem.
I almost have it dialed out by lowering the rudder acceleration in the software under the rudder parameters section. Hope this helps! |
