Default kontronik mambo and 5s setup?

Hi all. This is my fisrt post; my name is GianCarlo, from Rome, Italy.
I would like to get a lighter heli (actually i have a QWW EP10 with this setup: kontronik Mambo 15, Jazz 55 and 5S FP 3700); here is an onboard video http://www.gcmingati.net/wordpress/2007/05/13/go-fly/ - you can hear how fast the blades are spinning, around 2000 rpm.
I also have a MaxiR and a Piccolo Pro.

The question: will the new trex500 fly with the above setup? The kontronik mambo is a 1500U/min/V motor driven by a 5s battery.
If so, i could just buy a trex 500 kit and swap all the electronics on the new bird. Let me know.
Thanks

GC

The 500 will come with an ESC, BEC and motor, so you won't need any of what you mentioned off of your EP10 if you are happy running the stock equipment.

hi and thanks for the reply. i was just wondering if such motor could be used to power the trex. the ep10 has the same size but doubles the weight. in my search for a new lighter helicopter, the trex500 could be my choice, if motor and batteries that i already have could be reused. there are some pictures i've seen wich i can't 'understand' the diameter of the stock motor

Why not leave the motor in your EP10, and just use the same batteries on the Trex 500? Then you can fly both helicopters when you want, or sell the ep10 RTF if you are so inclined.
