Default Need some N2 parts if anyone has them.

I crashed my Velocity 50 recently and am no2 facing the reality of the parts shortages everyone talks about. It is somewhat deceiving because Helidirect and A-main do have a lot of parts in stock. But there are some show stoppers that I can't track down anywhere.

I need the following.
landing gear set
129T main gear
Lower electronics tray, the one below the gyro tray.
Radius swash driver arms.

Maybe a couple other things too, I'll add to the list if I come up with others.

Rotorquest had a couple items I couldn't find elsewhere. The landing gear is still eluding me.

Aramb, I'll shoot you a PM. I might like to get those gear from you.

Thanks for the help guys. I was just about ready to order a new 50 FBL kit probably from some other brand. I do like the way the Outrage flys but parts availability is annoying.

That helped a bunch. I ordered the elusive parts from Rotorquest. I'm not sure what the exchange rate is these days, but 25 dollars canadian sounded reasonable. And I got a little help on the landing gear from Aramb. The rest of my bent up parts I was able to tack on to an order I needed to place from A-main hobbies in the US. So it looks like I'll be flying the Outrage again!

Grand RC has a lot of outrage parts you may need.... Though you would be happier with A synergy N5C, I know I am..

I tried Grand RC in my shopping. They seem to have most of the parts listed, but if you look they are all out of stock. That has been my problem. drive gears, landing skids, and a couple essential parts were not available anywhere. Rotorquest helped, and some favors from the forum helped. I should be flying the Velocity again soon. I'll give it one more go-round. If I break it again I think I'll just trash the airframe and pick up something from Miniature Aircraft, Synergy, or even Align.

Go Goblin 630. You won't regret it. I love my 2 Fusions, but I bought the G630 to transition to something more supportable. It beats every other 600 class out there, hands down.

This is a nitro heli discussion really. I would want an airframe that could accept the motor and electronics from the velocity 50. It is flying again now, and it just rips for 10 minutes straight. I can get 4-5 hard and LONG flights in an hour window, which really fits my schedule. I really do love how this thing flys, and it has another shot at life now.

They do fly really well. I think it's time we started to figure out a solution to keeping our velos flying. Maybe a thread with interchangeable parts from other bird's.

Yeah I am in the same boat. I just bought an unbuilt FBL Velocity 50 mainly because I have always wanted one and now I can afford it. I will be looking for spares and/or extra airframes later so I can keep my bird in the air!

I have two of them on RCCanada for sale ... crazy deal but I can't seem to move them ... the reason I fear of advertising them on HF is the shipping cost ... if anyone has suggestions on the best and cheapest method of shipping ... please chime in!
