Default Logo 600 SX. Scorpion 4035-500 ore 4035-450 running 12S?[SOLVED]

I have go get a new motor for my Logo 600 SX as the one i have (Hyperion HS 4035-500) have 25mm spacing between bolt holes with M3 bolt makes it impossible to use the SX motor and main shaft third bearing supports.
So im in the market for a new motor and for gearing purposes a 4035-450 would be nice but have 200W less power then the 500KV motor.
Im not on for insane power ore headspeed and wont to lurn and advance in 3D but allso sport/big sky flying.
Off coure if it would fit a Scoprion 5020-450 would be nice as its in the handling capabilities of Kontronik Jive KV80 ESC im running.
The 42 and 45 series are way out of the kababilities of the Jive.

A 5020 will fit in an SX. My buddy has this motor in his. I believe you do have to split the frames to install it though.

A 5020 450 is realy tempting but not to have to split the frame everytime i need to have service on the motor.
But then again maybe the bigger bearings of these motor compared to the 4035 series will make it last along time before having to swap bearings in it.

Default Logo 600 SX. Scorpion 4035-500 ore 4035-450 running 12S?

I have a 5025-440kv in my 600SE, the fit is pretty snug but you don't have to open the frames to install/remove it, I shaved a little bit of plastic off the frame with an xacto to make it even easier.

Wich batteries do you use and what kind of flight time do you get?
Im using 2x Zippy flightmax 6S 2800mAh 30C packs at the momente and did order the 5020-450 few hours ago.
Havent had my 600SX in the air yet but the current powersystem came from my old 500 3D with 12S setup.

I share the same Thor/GensAce 10S 4500mAh stick packs from my 600SX, I get 6mins at 1800rpm but that's a 600SE with 690mm blades, its a great motor I've had it for a couple years now 300+ flights and the bearings are still good. One thing to keep in mind with that monster motor on 12S is your gear mesh needs to be set perfectly, and you won't have any issues. Ask me how I know...haha

Now the 5020-450 is not as powerful as the 4025-440 and im alowed to use the third bearingblock bought for motor and mainshaft so i guess il be good.
Have allways been a nazi to the gearmesh.
Any tips to get it right with the third motorbearing in the way?
The SX main gear allso is 2mm wider then the old 106T Mikado main gears, actually as wide as the old M1 pinions.
Thanks for input.

I would think you'll be fine with that motor and SX gears. With the older gear I bet it might be an issue if the gearmesh wasn't exactly right. The only motor I've ever heard of that really gave people headaches on the Logo was the 4225 but I suspect part of that was the higher kv forcing smaller pinions.

One of the reasons i go woth the 450KV motor is to utelise a 12T pinion making it easyer on the main gear then 11T does.
Maiden will be done soon with my old 4035-500 and 11T without the third bearing supports.

I am running an Align 750MX on my SX. It is lighter that the Scorps, and has more power, and it fits the mounting holes and 3rd bearing holder. I have been running it for about a year now with no issues, and plennnnnty of power on 12s.

I have just done my maiden today and even my Hyperion 4035-500 is powerfull enough for these heli and the peak current of the 750MX motor can trigger the current hard cut in the jive so i think the 5020-450 will be good for my flying.
