Mikado ditching mod .7?

I was going through boxes of my spare parts (selling a bunch of 550 sx parts as a lot in classifieds) for the logo 550 sx and came across a 16 tooth pinion mod .7 for the 5mm motor shaft (for the stock mikado/scorpion motor for the 550 sx). I was looking up parts online and noticed that the selection of pinions for this mod .7 is not very extensive. Is mikado ending this mod and going the route of the heavier mods for the 550 and larger size machines?

Not ditching Mod .7 that I know of, but have limited the pinion options the past year.
