800 xxtrem still up2date

As my wife takes the decision every year which new heli has to be purchased ... she (and a bit me) commited finally to go for a XXtreme 800.

I am currently flying a Diabolo 800+ and a G770. So form a size perspective all good.


As the XXtreme is out since 2012 (?) I am a bit unsure if the Logo will be still up2date or something new or an updated version will come out soon. I do not want to spend a lot of money and realizing soon that I should have waited a bit longer.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Unlikely at best.

It took them several years of delays to get this out in the first place.

800 has been out for a while , then they followed it up with the 700 which shares parts with same build style overall

Historically they come out with the machine and stay with it for a long time. The logo 500/600 series has been out for a while and is still current with the 690sx being added to the lineup.

I've flown the g770 also.

You will find the logo tail to be much stronger in FF tail work as compared to the g770 ( 120mm tails on comp tail upgrade (+7.8mm)) and track much better.
Auto's will be effortless like the g770.

Can't comment on the diablo. My understanding is that it's in the league of the 800. I started a post asking what I would fly similar/better than the xxtreme series. The diablo came recommended along with TDR and a few others. I've decided to sell of my goblins as I find there not for me.
