Default 3d Printed Heli Clamps

I've been meaning to do this for a while .... anyhow here they are. They're working extremely well. I'm experimenting with PLA and ABS. I'm printing the base clamp in PLA and the cap with ABS for the flexibility.
The printer has to be well calibrated since there are a lot of small details and overhangs.

Sweet man... you've got a bit of z ribbing and webbing. What material and temp (hotend) are you printing at?
Let me know how the G700 works... its a strange thing trying to make them tight and fit. Hopefully you read that both the g700 and the G500 are still a work in progress.

Yeah I think the ribbing is due to Y axis accel/speed being too high.
Filament is PLA starting at 190*and dropping to 185*.
Need to play and tweak...right now due to the ribbing I'll have to sand it down to fit the two peices.

i definitely found that printing at 0.17 layer height at around 45-50 mms with infill underspeed of 75-80% and outer perimeter underspeed of 65 percent yields the best combination of speed and precision.

Thanks for the tips, I'm sure I'll need to print a few more test prints to get things perfect.
