Hunch, if you remove the motor mount bolt, you should be able to get a tool on those set screws. It is a pain tough, just don't go at it with a ball tip tool. Been there and had to drill it out once...

I just did that tonight. Decided to pull the motor and mount out.
So I marked the pinion location with a permanent market, unscrewded
The pinion screws and pushed it in about 1mm.
Put everything back together hoping I got it right and put the main gear back in and it was perfect.
Yay

I'll snap a picture tomorrow and post it.
But it worked out great.

Maiden flight still pending. Waiting for sunny weather and warm enough

Are you in the Cities? I just flew my 800 off of lake Harriett the other day. Way too cold to fly lately though. Sat or Sun might work.

yes i am in the cities.
i know, it's been so cold lately, not sure about this weekend.
i have yet to do a maiden on my 800, it was completely finished yesterday when i installed
KDE OWB and quick canopy mounts.

we should get together and adore our toys.
