Like to combine my hobbies and managed to stabilise the heli enough for a hands off controls photo. My second flight with the Nano, which is my first CP.

guyken, I really like the look of your white skids. You paint them? You can easily peel the stickers off the tail fins for the same look also.

Glad you like your new heli! It's my first CP and was about to give up on the whole damn thing during the first week but while it's a very nippy little bird, after much practice I can now get it under control and it's unbelievably precise compared to anything I've flown before and really starting to love this one. Was practicing spot landings tonight on a small helipad. Far easier, even in the confines of the living room, than my mSR or 120 SR with their TBE. Maybe in the months to come I'll be ready for 3D or a 130 X

And another out of ground effect before I moved to the floor. Sorry about the crap quality of the image. Used iPhone but at least the puny flash didn't drown out the heli's own glow. Can you tell how much I hate phone cameras?

Indeed i painted the skids but before i sanded them to make the surface a bit rougher so the paint does'not peel off easily . Is you don't crash too much it will keep and otherwise paint again . I was thinking of putting on a bit of clear varnish to protect the paint .
It is a good heli for its measures and if you put some grommets on the swash even better.
It can be quite agile at first.

Yeah, having the beefed up O-rings on the swash arms definitely improves the flying. I tried a couple of different sized silicone rings. I tried these also on the swash collar but were unnecessary and adding them to the blade grips actually increased the friction when the grips turn so I removed them as it kind of defeated any adjustments I made to the feathering spindle but that was my experience and others may find improvement.

I'd think varnish or maybe some type of plastic spray type coat should work without adding much weight. My yellow rotor blades have arrived so some high visibility flights next! Enjoy flying your new heli ...

Nothing special here. Still have a few things to tie up before it's air worthy.

Thanks for the comments on the photos. I think they speak for the Lynx blades. Heli is more stable than with the stock blades. I had to get the heli into a hands-off hover to switch to the camera and back! They are stiffer than the stock blades but I do have to add that I am a CP beginner so I can't comment on their performance for full on 3D. Perhaps a more experienced pilot can give some feedback. In my time with them so far I'm finding that they behave more like the stock bullets without sacrificing the agility. Hope that helps.

markarch, Stunning art work on that canopy !
