I thought I should pass on some links to videos from RCGroups of the Logo 500 3D in action. This guy (Mini-Dub) is a good pilot and does more smooth 3D flying than all out stick banging. I really like the style and the sound and video quality doesn't hurt either.

My friend was nice enough to put together a great video of my Logo 10. I'm a scale flyer, so no 3D, just some nice smooth figure 8s..

New 500 3D video!
Here is the video from Sunday with SCHC. Jason Chow is one of our best local pilots (I think we’ll all be seeing more of him soon! ). My flying skills are coming along, but when Jason offered to put my build through its paces I could not resist!
Here is what he posted that night after the flight: Quote:
Since posting my build thread, https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=51172, I’ve made the following changes: -Main blades changed from Rotortech 550mm to 560mm. This made the most significant difference and notably improved cyclic response. The 560mm blades are 19g lighter, have 2mm wider cord and slightly inward CG vs the 550’s. -Paddles changed from stock to 80mm V-paddles. Minimal flight differences, but they look cooler! -Pinion changed from 16T to 15T. I’m not great at collective management yet and with the 16T I would get some bogging. The motor and battery were also coming down a bit warmer than I liked and made me concerned for hot weather. With the 15T, I’m getting 5:30 flights, putting back 3350mA, or a conservative 67%!, and the battery is 110 deg F. Now running 2250 HS. On this flight, Jason flew 5:30, used 3634mA (73%) and the battery was 110 deg. Enjoy!! Ah man, I so wish I could have come down to the fun fly. Rob, that Logo is flying SO well. Pass on my compliments to Jason for the flying, Victor for the filming, and to you for the research of components. That is such a great video to watch. Its definitely one of my favorites now (maybe because my setup is so close).

Some good collective management, some more HS would really quicken the cyclics as well. I realize you want to maintain the flighttime so the 15 will certainly do. Nice video, thanks for sharing!:o

L5003D down under - filmed at Coolum
Low key video of the L5003D (8MB wmv) with the 515 Rotortech blades - the tic-tocs limp wristed as I forgot to tell my pilot Wes that he needed to flick to idle2 for 85% and another 100 rpm of HS - anyway pretty agile as it is !

Wow John that didnt turn up to bad. For those of you watching the vid that john posted up it was me that was flying it and it was only my second flight with this chopper and coming from a T600n and T600e this machine is amazing the cyclic control is insane in particular the roll rate. As john also mentioned that entire flight was only flowin in idle up 1 mode one which is setup with a little less HeadSpeed hence why the tictocs looked a little funny due to the deteriation of headspeed as the first flights tictocs were smick cause i was in idle up 2 but even in idle up 1 the machine still has heaps of power and response and all on a 4900 6s flightpower. The thing that grabs me about the johns logo is that you can fly it really sedate or fly it like a 3d demon and not have to change anything its simly brilliant. Damb you john, anyone want to sell me their logo 500, thanks for the fly john will have to do it again !

Well in places that are cold enough that is a indoor golf driving range. You guys in Australia are spoiled, it shows that you did not know what that was, lol.
Nice flying Marshall, I'd say you are very comfortable with your setup. I'd love to be able to fly in a golf dowm, but they would not even allow 450 size machines in ours .

Hi guys. Well I don't have one (for now ) but a friend cptsnoopy let me fly his, and another new friend David filmed the second time I ever flew a flybarless heli with his phone I think... Just a quick vid but this is my first ever attempt at a backwards rolling circle in real life, so that should tell you how immediately comfortable I was with the heli. Thanks Charlie
