X50 down !!

put my X50 in the dirt friday evening at the Mid American Funfly. Was in a backwards huricane and lost site of the tail and it went in tail first. damage wasnt that bad. Canopy came out clean as a whistle which was very suprising. damage was boom, belt, boom support,spindle, main gear, auto gear and blades of course lol. frames held up strong and all the aluminum on the head solid. all in all wasnt bad. alot of people have been saying " those frames are week... the aluminum is soft...) they are full of it!! i came in hard and i walked away happy with the little damage that it took! I love this X50!! My Titan SE is slow and heavy compared to the X50. Im gonna bumb the SE up to 6volts and maybe a YS56sr like my X50 and see if she comes alive.

Glad to hear it isn't going to cost you a mint to get her in the air again John!

Ad an FBL system to the grunt of the 56 and it will give the old SE a whole new lease on life!

I trashed my Vision50 a few weeks ago at Coff's helifest and then put in my FBL Raptor in last week so I am going to pull the TotalG and 55 from the vision to replace the SK360 and 53 in the Raptor because it just flys so nice!

Carlos put up an X50 in the pilots draw at the Helifest and as soon as I saw it I kept repeating in my head X50, x50 x50 and what do ya know Carlos won it so he put it back in and I thought I had another chance. What did I win? I won a crappy little TRex 450 clone tail case Carlos won the X50 again on the second round so he gave it to a guy he knew really wanted one! Good going Carlos, top bloke!
That was the first time I had actually seen an X50 in the flesh and I have to say I will be calling Revmax in the VERY near future!
