Default 12s 5000?

Anybody hang 2 6s 5000s on a 600 esp frame? Can you get it to balance correctly if so? I've got some gens ace 65c that I'd like to try.

While I never flew it that way, I did try to mount a couple of 12S 5000s on my 600 ESP. They did fit on the front, and since mine had always been a bit tail heavy, It actually balanced quite well also. I took the plate that the batteries would sit against and removed the bottom screws. I also cut a bit of the bottom off that plate so I could have it upright. The only problem I had was fitting the canopy. I would have had to drill new holes to fit the canopy. I always meant to try to fly it that way but never did and now all that stuff is going to a different project that is higher on the priority list. I do suspect that the heli would have been pretty heavy to fly though.

Default Balance point (600e pro)

I have 600e pro 12s new model and I use 2 x 6s-5000/30c lipos and it balances nicely...bit on heavy side weigh in at 3.9 kilo all up and it sits nicely in air...bit on heavy side but she has enough power to overcome it. As far as balance goes sit lipos so they just come to end of railing and it should be good...hope this helps...

Default 6s/5000 30c/60c bursts.

Hey guys.. I bought the lipo's at LHS and as far as I can make out they are special order, as in they are made exactly to fit large Heli's 600/700/800 etc. I purchased 2 of them just to see how good they were, flight time, power, hold up to hard usage etc.. the brand name is REACTOR so far so good, and as far as I know they are made in China. they were cheapies...$100 each and compared to what I normally run (Hyperion at $250 a battery) it was a bargain...I also have purchased the usual cheapies from Hobby King..(turnigy/ zippy/ lightmax etc).most of heli club guys fly cheapies but they are not reliable and tend to puff up.I must admit I have flown Hyperion for couple years and can't complain at all.. reliable, light weight (compared to others) hold power under load never puff etc.. I know they are one of the best and most expensive on market, but I trust them 100%. and they are as good as the day i got them and after at least 100 flights still going strong. Ask LHS they might do special orders.. good luck mate...

That's double the pack weight of a normal 6s setup. If you look at 12s setups, they are only slightly above the pack energy (cell count * pack capacity) of a 6s setup, or equivalently slightly more than the weight of a single 6s5000 pack,

If you like flying a heavy t*rd then go ahead, I am not sure it makes sense. My opinion of course,
