Yes, I hope its OK now. But I'll keep your method in mind if I need it :
Tell me about it. One of the screws already crunshed-up the carbon So I really don't want to open it because squeezin over and over again won't make it better. So hopefully I'm done with wrenchin for the next 100 flight I think I'll use too much torque on all the little screws... Soko

I noticed that - one of the upper motor mount adjustment screws look a bit chewed up. Definitely too much torque. Also you may want to invest in some MIP drivers

The MIP's are very, very nice tools! As far as torque goes, you will develop a feel, over time, for the right amount of torque on the small screws. You do go through a few screws getting the hang of it, but you will suddenly know how tight you can turn them.

Compass says to use not too much torque.
I did try to use just two fingers to tightem the screws... But I forgot about it during the build of course As I don't know which one are too tight I'm really not keen to redo each screw. I will just check frequently if any heads are missing as it happened with the tail. I know, its not optimal, but all I can do at the moment. At least I'm aware of it Yes, I want the MIPs for a looong time

I dunno...I've never seen a steel bolt head break off from over torquing into aluminum. Usually the aluminum will strip out first.

Here you go. Not all steel is created equal (like CF and Al). Look for the 12.9 alloy if you're concerned about strength (i.e. blade bolt for a larger heli).
This head snapped off before it even made contact.One of the mounting holes in the lower main shaft bearing block wasn't tapped deep enough (another compass 'moment' ). With a couple of mm of screw still sticking out, I thought the resistance was maybe a rough thread in the tap or some debris... Well my MIP had no problem dealing with that (and leaving the bolt head itself completely undamaged) - lol.
