Same here... had to add a thin (.4mm I think) shim on one of 500s in addition to the little brass shoulder washer, didn't need on my other one.

And on one of mine, the flange bearing was so loose that it would rock slightly and I was afraid it would wear the hole bigger. I got and used some of this and worked perfectly -- LOCTITE 68005 680 Retaining Compound, .5ml, Hi Strength, Fills Gap Size .015"
