Default Main blade tip to Tail blade tip distance

Hi, basically I installed a 640mm rotortech blade with 105mm tail blade to my KDS innova 600.

It appears that there is 30mm gap between the two blades... Do you think it is enough for smacking 3D, how much would you think the tail boom flex when there is a high collective that could leads to blade strike?

A 30 mm clearance should be fine. Just be sure you have the blade grips set very tight to the blade roots.

I agree, if I shake my SAB 630comp running MS 660 mm's violently with the blades extended, they only move slightly.... Keep them tight.

You look to have enough clearence.

you will be fine there.

the boom isn't what you worry about flexing. the blades flexing and lead/lag is what causes most boom to blade impacts. of course there are other things that can do it too, lose blades, broken links, swash plate failing...etc.
