Default HeliCommand HC3-SX for Bailout

Hi,

is the HeliCommand HC3-SX the only self leveling system if i am looking to lean 3D and have a bailout function ? Or any other systems availbale ?

I have an Align Autopilot, not been able to use it until now. I am looking for something to lear inverted and some 3D moves without having to pay a lot of $$$ in crashs.

thanks

Yea, isn't SK720 can also do bait out as well? It was 200% rate to return to level either in upright or in inverted. It's software configurable.

The old 720 can do that already. You don't need the Black Edition. I don't think the Black Edition will be ready in months anyway.

So between the Hc3sx and the 720, you will pick up the 720 for it bailout function and as a 3d learning tool ??

Both HC3SX and 720 are very similar as of RIGHT NOW. But as soon as the SK's GPS comes out in 2 weeks, the 720 will have the hard deck feature allowing you do any crazy thing and it'll never crash. It's gonna be a real life 3D SIM. I really can't wait.

Are you talking about this

http://www.skookumrobotics.com/produ...arless-system/

They dont talk about any bailout function on the description directly on their website, but i do see that on other websites.

Any reason ?

" the SK-GPS combines altitude and position hold, and a “flight floor and ceiling”

The bailout function features two modes – pilots can set the SK-GPS to bail their heli out when it reaches a set altitude, or to bail out before the set altitude. The SK-GPS also bails the heli out with the tail pointed towards the pilot to help with orientation after recovery.

The SK-GPS will also “return to home” when needed, while adding an extra level of safefy by hovering 10 metres (33 feet) above the set point, allowing the pilot to safely land the heli without risk to bystanders. "

Yes, that's the unit. The bailout function is just a flip on the switch to enable the "self-leveling" function. You have a choice to self level up right or inverted as well.

Disagree that they are equivalent. The SK-720 and Brain only self level. The brain only SL to upright, and I think the 720 as well. Neither apply any collective AFAIK.

The HC can self level to the nearest horizontal (configurable) and can apply positive or negative collective as appropriate. IMHO, HC has the fastest bailout.
