Default YGE and Scorpion HK-4025-1100 HELP!!!!!!!!

I have the older scorpion HK 4025-1100 and the YGE 120HV non BEC ESC . I set the timing to 6 degrees and the PWM to 8kHz what the specs from Scorpion says but the motor wont spin up and it just cogs? This is in a Goblin 570 . Anyone have the right timing and PWM so i dont burn anything up?

Default YGE and Scorpion HK-4025-1100 HELP!!!!!!!!

Yge recommends 18 timing for outrunner motors.

Pwm should be 8-12. I use 10 on my scorpion motors.

I've seen a 120hv on a 700. I highly doubt you'll overheat it. But start with 18 timing and 8 or 10 pwm.

+1 on 18 deg timing & 10 kHz pwm.

I'm running the 4025 III 1100 KV in a Logo 550 SX. It holds head speed quite well at 2200 rpm (P gain and I gain one step from maxed out) and turing down the I-gain on the tail fixed the tail flutter on funnels.

However I feel there could be more power, especially on 1900 where there's quite the delay before I can feel the gov reacting.
I'm running 18% timing with PWM set to 8 (as Scorpion says for that motor) and then 9.

Motor is supposed to be smoother with a bit more power at the cost of efficiency, right? So shall I go ahead and set it to 10 PWM? My ESC maxed out at 32°C (18°C outside temperature) and motor isn't too hot to touch.

I suggest 10-12 pwm. You will notice much more power

Did one flight on 9 and then a bunch with 10 PWM yesterday. Big difference in power, had to dial down the governor quite a bit. But wobble on stops got reduced which is a good thing. Only get 4:30 of semi-hard flight time, but that's quite alright.

I shall try 11 and 12 one of these days to see if the increased power is worth the increased heat and flight time for me. 10 is where it's at for now, I kinda wish I could control that in-flight with the transmitter so PWM goes down the more I get to center stick.
