Default Beam Avantgarde - Colin Smith - Freestyle Flight

Filmed and edited this yesterday whilst out at the flying field. We've just about got this puppy nicely dialed after adjusting the gains a bit in the V-bar unit and changing the pinion tooth count (we had wayyyy too much headspeed). The preference with this machine is to run a more conservative headspeed in the realm of 2100-2200 or so for a more smoother flying style. It can still do POP and LOCK as required though!

What do you boys think?

Running gear is:

- Nexus HV Cyclics
- Futaba BLS251 Tail servo
- Kontronik 80HV ESC (using on board BEC)
- 2x 6s Galaxy 40c/80c batteries 3000mAh
- Mikado Mini V-bar Blueline
- Gryphon 615mm FBL Blades
- Scorpion 4025-550kv motor

Hi, balances ok, a tiny bit nose heavy which is actually good for fff, but even in a hover it dosnt matter and piros flat and true, they do physicallyfit very well.

Hi Nic, 12 tooth pinion with the Kontronic Jive gov feature.
Was using a 16 tooth in the vid with the gov curve set to 40 flatt to try and lower the hs.
Now using a 12 tooth and at 78 flat curve its spot on
