determined to get this controller to work with satellite only,

I did not set the fail safe.

once powered up, it took over 20 seconds for the controller to initialize, this might have been a warning,
spooled up, got it about 1 foot off the ground and lost total control, it flew up about 12 feet and arched into the ground about 50 feet away.
my first crash with the 480.

I discarded that satellite and bound another one, rebuilt the heli, set fail safe, and test flight, looks good except for the head shaking under higher head speeds.


the good news, looks like I finally found a capable satellite tx combo.

Is it a ZYX or a ZYX-S - only the "S" works with a satelite

zyx-s so far 3 flights with the new satellite, no issue, fingers crossed.
