Default Head block runout

I am pretty sure I bent my head block in my last big crash. Can anyone give me some ideas of how to verify this?

Just in case you missed my other post on the lounge!!

"Take the blades off the main and tail. Take that button off. Spin the heli up and while looking directly down from above onto where the button hole is you will see if your head is off when it spins. If the shaft is ok then there is a problem with the head."
P.S new parts do not mean they are ok! I bought about 10 flybars last year all were bent from different suppliers and it was not the packing fault. I'm FBL now thank God."

One issue with eye balling the button hole..
Some times they are not drilled perfectly centered.

A suggest would be if it has a flat top, attach a piece of flat bar stock to the top of the head and spin it by hand.
Or remove the grips and feather shaft and slide a length of round stock through the head and spin by hand.

In either case, the ends should appear even when spun.

If you are concerned that the head block it out, from a coning standpoint, you can, with the blades on, measure the distance from the tail boom to the blade tip, then rotate the head and repeat.

If the measurements are identical, the head is not bent on that plane.
