It's probably an OEM Tarot ZYX with a HK label (kinda like the iKon and MSH Brain); same hardware and firmware.

Ok but i have a faulty zyx.....and contacted tarot and they say that hobbyking is not a dealer of tarot

The ZYX is not made by Tarot, only the models of the ZYX unit with a legitimate Tarot sticker on them are endorsed and warranted by Tarot. They will also deny any ZYX units with a fake Tarot sticker slapped on. It's almost like asking Microsoft to fix your Dell, it does not work that way.

Its funny (not really) but I am finding the opposite is true for me at least. The few times I contacted Hobby king I got a response right away, and they even honored an RMA for me.

Now on the other Hand I am trying to send a defective vbar back to EmpireRC after Gaui made a recall notice and they are not even answering my emails. I had to go to my vendor who contacted Empire on my behalf who then told the vendor to tell me to ship it to Empire... and I have to pay for shipping.

HobbyKing sells fake tarot zyx-s' and they don't work with satellites!!! Screw those dishonest bastards!!!!! Also the customer service they offer is made to appear complicated when its just a round about time sink to make you forget or give up... Also the PayPal persons email mailbox is full from all of the complaints most likely. Wasted a week of my like trying to get a fake tarot to work and now I'm wasting more time dealing with scammyking... Paypal notified.

Greek - the ZYX-S I just setup with both Spektrum and Orange sats I purchased from HK. Have you tried downgrading your firmware to 3.5 prior to doing the bind? Worth a shot....

Tried every firmware possible and a dx6i and dx8 and a spectrum sat and orange sat and every setting lol

That does not help at all. Paypal mostly gives you the runaround and, if you don't give up, they decide in favor of the seller.
I just had happen something similar. Fbl system arrived in an empty plastic case, no electronics inside. They and hextronik (Hobbyking) gave me the runaround for 6 weeks now and no replacement and no money back . . .
"Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to decide this claim in your favor"
We as the buyers and the money providers don''t have any leverage.
Once our money is gone, it's gone!

i have two tarot zyxs units from hobby king. ive no reason to think they are not genuine units.

they both work flawlessly
