So I was out flying today with my friends, one of them was filming me. I wanted to show off the stability of the VBAR, so while low and inverted I took one hand off the radio, and looked at the camera... Then I heard the blades scrape!!
Good thing my Helixs arrive in the mail today!!

I cut spacer which is on a tail shaft a little with a rasp to reduce its thickness and put some glue to fix a spacer on a shaft
Instead of using spacers, I shortened the tail slider shaft about 5mm. Then I filed for the set screw. Now, it travel same to left and right. And geometry is more better, when servo arm is in 90, slider control arm also 90 now.

Just my opinion, this is the best canopy ever for this helicopter.

Love how the neon pops on that canopy! Are the picture's dimensions manipulated at all? The slightly taller body is messing with the proportions of the heli. I bet it will make the 600sx look great though!

Pictures are straight from the camera with a little sharpness added.

The more I look at this heli the more I like it.

The new battery tray makes all the difference too.

So does it seem like you gained more vertical height in the frame for taller lipos?

OptiPower 6s 5000mAh lipo sat in there, loads of room.

Rain lifted at last this morning and it's on!
Best of all, the sun even made a few fleeting appearances.

I just re-geared and flew the 500SX at 2300 for the first time today. Much more responsive. Very nice. Flight times were still good between 3:30 and 9 minutes today depending on flight.

The KDE 600XF motor logged 171 amps today and my headspeed logs were almost completely flat. Tremendous power for such a light heli.

You mean 550sx or did you like "shrink" it?

The older models a SE500 was a 550 to 600 size. The 600SE was a 700.

Mine is the CF and can be a 550 to 700 with a 25mm boom.
