what is next for flight learning?
I spent about 6 months so far learning flying. So far I can fly upright/inverted circles, forward/backward/side flips, inverted hovering in all orientations, funnels (ccw direction for head-up and cw inverted), etc. I know I should keep familiar with all orientations for both upright and inverted flying. Besides that, I am wondering what is next should I learn to go step by step for 3D flying?

Get the EP10 of 3D series from smacktalkrc.com
Bert have put in a nice 3D routine that you can start to practice!

I also suggest Smacktalk Learning 3D, it has taught me lot of stuff, at least half or more of what I know today. Bert really breaks everything down and gives some nice tips. Really good advice and money well spent.

Tic tocs IMHO; they will teach you a lot about collective mgt. Also start on piro flips and piro hovering.
Once you've got the above, piro tic tocs. There is a solid year of work right there! The problem I personally find is that the more you add the less quickly you can progress as you need to keep at the funnels/hurricanes/boring hovering stuff else you start sliding backwards. Whilst piro flips etc are great they don't help your hurricane skills for example.

I've been chasing and learning individual tricks for a few months now. From this point on now I'm more interested in learning how to play the instrument rather than to play the songs. Because once I do then I'll know how to play all the songs.

I'd say it is time for you to start piroetting. This will not only help keeping your orientations sharp, but it will also set you up for piroflips and other piroetting moves.
Start very slow. You can do them fast once you can keep them in one spot when doing them slow, Rainbows, and after that tic tocs and stationary/traveling flips can teach you a lot about collective management and can be very useful too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
