Default High Voltage to Eagle tree RPM Sensor?

I am trying to use the Eagle Tree RPM sensor on my Friends Rave 90 Electric. (He also has the SK720 installed))
Am I supposed to connect the two wires from Eagle Tree the RPM sensor to any of the two wires on the motor. The reason that I am asking is because the RPM Sensor says that it is for low voltage and I am afraid to burn something up. The Rave is using a 44 Volt Battery Thanks

If no luck here try the EagleTree forum over on RCG - "Billpa" from ET checks in often and answers questions from customers.

Found this:

http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t530938p1/

"The Brushless RPM Sensors should work fine up to the maximum voltage the eLogger will allow (50V for the V2 and 70V for the V3.)"

I presume they mean the voltage on the side of the servo plug, so below 6V there?
