Default New 300x thottle hold issue?

Hi all,

I have just bought a 300x, not had chance to fly it yet due to bad weather. I have bound it to my dx6i though and given it a quick checkover. If I initialize the heli with throttle hold engaged on my dx6i, the heli will always be stuck on idle up when I disengage throttle hold, regardless of my idle switch position. Is this normal? If I initialize the heli without throttle hold engaged all switches work as normal. Thanks

You need to follow EXACTLY the TH throttle curves shown in the manual for the DX6i. Yes, 10%.

This is (likelihood 99.99%) the source of your problem.

+1000 to ahahn.. That is the exact symptom you will get if the DX6i is not set at 10% on TH.

After you set the DX6i to 10% at TH (as specified in the manual), ensure there are no trim (should be at cener) or subtrim (should be 0) on the throttle, and then re-bind..
