Hi,

Decided to attach my EDF sound, as I can't enjoy the EDF vids being posted with the default ducted fan sound........

fixedWing_EDF.pxe in c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\objects\aircraft\fixedWi ng\engines\
EDF.wav in c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\soundEffects\planes\
Select EDF as your engine sound in plane setup.

Cheers!

Default EDF DuoPack

Hi,

My two custom EDF favs in PhoenixRC at the moment.

- Flight time set to 8 minutes.
- EDF variant for scale models HawkTrainer (wingspan 900mm) and F-16 Turbine (wingspan 800mm)
- EDF sound

Regarding sound:
fixedWing_EDF.pxe in c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\objects\aircraft\fixedWi ng\engines\
EDF.wav in c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\soundEffects\planes\
Select EDF as your engine sound in plane setup.

Share your thoughts!

Enjoy!

Default Great Work

Very nice work, I just wish we had a scale British Jet to work on, the Typhoon just wont cut it.

Default Nice job

Now why could they have not done that with the original now all we need is the ability to model the 3D models and we can start to make some real cool stuff.

Hi,

Here's an Edge540 Air Race variant I like to use when doing some high speed flying.

Variant file is read-only as it also has smoke option. If you remove the read-only the smoke will get deleted.

Also included new sound based on some Katana vids. I think it sounds nice, specially when flying full throttle.

Installation of the sound files:

- PXE file into c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\objects\aircraft\fixedWi ng\engines\
- WAV files into c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\soundEffects\planes\

Installation of the variant file:

- PXV file into My documents folder, eg when using Vista c:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\PhoenixRC\Variants\f ixedWing\

Run the sim and select the AirRace variant for the Edge540 model.

Cheers!

Here's an Air Race scheme I created a while ago, based on one of Hannes Arch's schemes in Abu Dhabi.
