Default batteries and cb100

how much difference in run time do you think i'll get between a 500 15c vs a 500 20c battery? my 15c pack got 8.5 min of flight. i'm rather bummed about my 600 20c packs. i only get about 5+ min of flight out of them.

how long can i expect out of a 400 10c pack? i can get a decent deal on them, but if it's less time than 5 min i'll have to pass on them.

is there a decent low cost charger out there for these packs? can i get away with a 2c (1 amp) charge on these cells?

The new 500mAh batteries are longer and thinner - the older 400 batteries will not fit in the CB100 cradle - Higher C rating faster possible discharge - 10C batteries are likely to give lower performance and push them too hard may bloat on you.

so the 500 15c are my choice. the one i have gives me 8.5 min of flight. not just hovering. kinda a pain though. i bought 3 with my heli, and got 4 more coming from china.

I know that a while back a quite a few of the walkera sub micro flyers went on to the zippy batteries and gave them rave reviews - I am not sure if the 600mAh 20C Zippy's would be an alternative - don't know if anybody has tried them out as of yet (CB100) - so may be an option for the future but the down side is you have to solder your own leads on http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s..._single_cell__

hmmm wish i knew i was getting my cb100 when i placed a order with hobby city recently. i would have gotten a few. although the ones i have (600 20c) fit fine, but only give 5 min of flight. i'll stick with the 500 15c cell. i like 8.5 min flights.
