Default Jeti mezon esc's

Hi there,

I have just had a look at the mezon range of controllers, and I'm impressed they look business like and seem to have a decent bec on them as well.

I have had a look at the instructions but couldn't find any reference to "active free wheeling" like YEP, YGE, and Kontronik.

Does the mezon have such facilities or is it just built in with no reference given in the instructions?

I am looking to try a low headspeed heli, with a Kontronik this is just a matter of dialling in a straight line throttle signal and flying, but with other non active freewheeling escs too lower a percentage setting can seriously overheat the fets and ruin efficiency etc.
I could just go with Kontronik but the mezon range are serious value for money in comparison

Thanks

So I'm right in saying I can use them at a lower percentage single line value like a Kontronik?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "single line value", but you can run then at a low throttle.

Only issue is you won't want to use the built in governor, it doesn't perform well at lower percentages. If you are using a FBL that supports an external governor then yes it will work fine.

So they work ok with the gov if you aim for a figure of say 80% but would not if you try to run the gov at say 50 %?

A fixed single throttle value across all 5 points.

Hard to say where the cut off is but I would say you definitely have issues with that setup. I tried to tune mine to run at 2000/2300/2500 rpm on a Goblin 500 and could not get the low headspeeds even close, caused all sorts of problems for the tail. Swapped to using the FBL governor and it was fine with no tail issues on the same setup otherwise.

Found that the max and min settings directly impact the rpm/th% ratio. I was first getting 2800 rpm at 45% throttle but sorted it by changin max and min throttle values in the mezon.
