Default Futaba Tx with Spektrum module.

I have a T9CHP Futaba transmitter, and installed a Spektrum module with the idea of flying an MCPx 2 heli. The heli has been tried with a T6i Spektrum Tx and works well. But I don't seem to be able to make it fly at all with the Futaba/Spektrum module. A friend got me some information from Helifreak, only it was using a Futaba 10CHP, and I tried setting up my T9CHP the same and it didn't work. What can I do to make it work?
If this problem has already been addressed in an earlier thread, could somebody please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

did you bind the heli to your module? I presume you're talking about the DM8 module.

flybaby1,

Not sure what you mean by "not work".

There are several steps to this "not work" issue and it would be helpful to know what steps are working.

I managed to convert my Futaba Super 7 via the Spectrum module to fly my mCPX.

Did you set the TX output to PPM mode?
