Default 14SG and 401/9254

Hi All,
I cannot get the gyro to initialise, I get the red light slowly flashing.
When I go into gyro I see Rudd Gyro , gyro 2 Ael gyro 3 Elev.

I have inh gyro 2 and 3

I don't understand how to get it to work on Rud, this os what I have

GYRO (RUD) NORMAL
COND NORMAL ON
TYPE GY AVCS

RATE 80% <80%>

FINE TUNINING
-- +0% < +0%

Is there something I am missing.

I have all the plugs in right channel on rx, it is doing my head in..

I know it is not the gyro as I plugged it into a another rx using a 10c and it worked fine.

It was so simple on the 10C

ha ha
Any step by steep help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Matt

Thanks HillieHelli

It seems my gyro is faulty, (401) it still would not initialise after following your settings,
so I tried an old 401 and it worked fine, I even setup a switch so I could flick between AVCS and Normal, it worked fine.

So I put the troubled 401 back and hey ho all I got was the slow flashing red light..

But what is strange is when I plug the trouble 401 into my other machne using a 10C or a 12FG it works, it will not work with my 14SG.

SO I guess there something wrong..

Matt

It has been quite some time since I have actually activated a GY-401 and programmed a TX. to operate it.
I do still have a Spartan ds760 on my Flybar'd T-Rex 250 so that helps me stay somewhat on-track to these type Gyro's.

Very-strange that it will work with the 10C or 12FG and not with your new T14SG (?) but glad that you were able-to get the second one working properly.

Possibly there is a solution that I'm not seeing or you can send the suspected GY-401 to Robbe (UK) for inspection.
