a really tough really good looking heli case and field box. It works as a landing pad too to keep my tail out of the grass. I hate the ugly boxes they sell and mine is WAY stronger.

lol, yes, very nice case, but the heli disappeared for me most of the time as the resolution was so low. It just popped into view periodically as you whizzed past.

Yeah its on the wish list. I gotta wait til after winter though. I'll be digging in storage today to look for my "better" camera.

The box was a fun project. I did run into some issues. I had to return 3 different sets of nonlatching latches. They looked fancy but... function over fashion I suppose. The other ordeal was foam. It is REALLY expensive.

I used 1 inch of flat dense foam on the bottom then 1/2 inch of memory foam in the middle layer, which holds the TX, sticks/switches nice w/o crushing them through the cut outs, then topped it off with 1 1/2 inch ripple foam for each half of the box. You can see how I hid my charge leads under the TX.

It weighs 10 lbs on the dot (4.5 kilo approx) for box/foam. All up weight around 12ish lbs (did not weigh loaded) It will keep my stuff dry if it rains on it but

it is not a bath time toy.
