Default 3g newbie needs help please

folks yall have always been there for me and now I need you more than ever,I just tapped into the world of flybarless for the first time and I'm having a terrible time with flight characteristics. The setup went without a hitch and everything appears to be working just like its supposed to but when I get it off the ground its really uncontrollable, could yall look at my servo horns and tell me if maybe theres a problem there,I almost wiped out a brand new pair of maverick pros trying to land this thing, the heli is a trex 500 with the 3g,movement is setup just like it says in manual, swash moves back when tilted forward and forward when moved back and left to right is the same,so I dont know where to go from here.it wonders bacwards really fast and darts one way or the other and trying to use cyclic is like trying to fly a walkera 4g6 with no heli experience, keep in mind I have almost three years of flying under my belt so I have a good knowledge of helis thus far, flybared that is.PLEASE HELP I dont have a pitch gauge but I have a regular flybarred pitch gauge and really good eye for detail... any ideas would be great...

NMI, swash values, PCs TCs. Did you load defaults with the PC link?
I'd move the balls in one hole to get the resolution up.
Did you remember to do a data reset to wipe all trims and subtrims prior to setup?
Set for 9deg. cyclic, 12 pitch. Set both aile and elev cyclic, not just aile like the destructions
Normal PC 40 45 50 75 100 IU 0 25 50 75 100
Normal TC 0 60 80 85 90
IU1 90 80 90
IU2 100 90 100
After setup link up and check deg./sec. and tweek the control rates till they are close to matching.
Change expos to 0 and set TX expo to 30
Increase pots to 1:00
When checking for 0deg. mid stick rotate the blade 180 and make sure it still shows 0. If not the direction it tilted indicates the swash is off in that direction. Check side to side and front to rear.
Run 6.0v bec.

Default 3g help

thanks for all that info,I bought this unit used with no manual or pc link so I'm flying a little blind on setup and the directions are just a little fuzzy,I like video setup instructions better,I may be a d d when it comes to manuals.I'm not gonna give up though cause i know it will pay off once I get this thing dialed in.. I'm sure my problem lies in the pitch and swash settings...

The swash could be off a tad and the sensor must be level on the 3G. Also when you get the link check the deg./sec. in the movement screen and make sure there all 0s or it will drift.
The 3G is sensitive to cyclic center and sometimes just running back threw setup making sure to center the cylcic stick good is all it takes.
Pick up Fly Bar paddle gauges for setting your 0deg. pitch and there's also a method using those to fine tune the swashs level.

Hi, stupid question, but are the cyclic servos digital?
3G must have digital servos on cyclic and digital/analogue on tail.

Im using the hs 5245mg's,I have actually managed to get it to fly alot better by using the pc link I bought from helidirect.it still needs a few tweeks here and there but it actually flies a lot better and I can land it without fear of crashing.thanks for all the help.my next step will be to do the silicone mod however I opened the sensor and the three gyros dont appear to have any movement at all so I dont know how the silicone will prevent any vibrations,Im gonna try it anyways, there must be a reason everyone else is doing it,I do have to say that setting up the 3g wasnt really difficult,or maybe I just got lucky. a flybarless pitch gauge will come in handy as well but a level surface with picture perfectly level picture frame in the backround to use as a level works pretty darn good...
