Does the "servo install and linkage setup" video link anyone to step 12, or is that just me?

Hey guys...

I sent a PM to Bob....so till he or someone else fixes it you can still view the video by changing the filename in the url of the download window from "step12" to "servo_setup"

Thanks Bob

My TREX 600 arrives tomorrow

I downloaded all the Videos (Cause im a bit of a newbie)
I know I know thats a big heli for a complete newbie
Ive got a EP 8 V2 Quick of Japan that ive almost finished that i will get some serious training on before I even consider flying the 600 :glasses2:

You dont know it but you helped me configure the swash and the 401 today, cause i had no idea why one servo went dat way and the other went dat way till i watched the swash video and immediately saw what the problem was after such a fine detailed explanation  The 401 again had no idea until i watched your Video, it took me all day to sort it out

but it was fun and challenging

keep up the good work, im on the other side of he world and you were able to get me sorted out, well done

P.S. dont suppose you could do a Video of converting a Hyperion 3's plug (LBA6 Balancer) to a JST or 2 JST plugs, I have 2'3s wired in series that have a total of 6 balancing plugs (1 per cell) and no idea how to convert my LBA6 Balancer to be able to occassionaly balance the batterys, had i of know that there were different balancing plugs on batterys i would have got the hyperion ones and saved myself the trouble :glasses:

Any way if not doesnt matter
Well done

Hang tight I am reposting it.
I had suggested setting up for +12/-12 in the video and Align contacted me and said not to reccomend that unles your are a experienced pilot. I had to put a warning in the vid to set up 9/9 for new and 10/10 intermidiate pilots as 12/12 improperly used can burn up the motor and ESC.

It will be back up in a few minutes.

So did Align give you the TREX 600 for free ?
seems they are watching you closely if they are contacting you and correcting your advice

just curious
would explain why you are able to come into possesion of numerous helicopters

please dont take offence
you could understand if we might think that

hey if you can get free helis and do your video thing more power to you i dont have a problem with it, my 600 just got delivered and your vids are going to be of huge importance to me.

group hug
i love this smiley

Nope... I bought the heli from Readyheli.com
I fly with Assurance RC (Andy Yu) and he was reviewing my videos and called and asked that I don’t recommend 12/12 pitch range out of the box.

So no your assumption is incorrect. No offense taken BTW.
I am glad my vids will help you in any way they can!

Hay bob what blades are you gona run on it?
I just made my mind up yesterday to get the 600 not the lepton due to your vids and seeing both first hand. I may still get the lepton but at this point the 600 is the right pick for me.

Lol I see you still get help from little attom ant. They like to check out the birdies dont they.

I wish my x400 had room to hide the wires like that.

OK a bunch of new segments now posted.
Basically all of the tail build.

Next up is installing the tail servo and setting up the gyro. I will be using a GY611 but will discuss the 401 as well.

ENJOY,
Bob
