Default TAROT MAINSHAFT IS SHORTER THAN MY STOCK HK MAINSHAFT?

I just recently discovered my hk450 fbl tt mainshaft is very slightly bent, still flies fine though. I replaced it with a tarot pro titanium anodized 1 last night. The hk is 118mm & the tarot is 110mm, the drilled holes are only 2mm shorter on the tarot. I installed it anyways to make for smoother vibe free spool up & flight. If i keep my swash follower arms level at mid stick & blades at 0 pitch the swash hits the collar at certain spots under full negative pitch. I dont fly hard 3d but do use some - pitch in loops & rolls so i raised the swash just enough for the it to clear the collar all the way around. Heres my ? In doing so i got no binding full + & - pitch, but the swash follower arms are no longer level, instead they have a slight incline coming from the head going out. Is it ok to fly with arms not exactly 90?

can you
YES

but it will mess up your pitch settings
just adjust the linkages to bring them back to 90 and check your pitch

I ll give it a shot. Since i dont need or use -10 degrees of pitch i guess i can just change my idle up pitch curve so i only get about -6 or -7 degrees of neg pitch with the collective at the L postion. If i leave the idle up pitch curve linear starting from 0, & level the swash follower arms the swash hit hit. Im not really sure how much neg pitch it takes to do a quick loop or barrel roll, hope -6 or -7 is enough

Did you accidentally get a DFC shaft or something? It sounds like the DFC ones are around 110mm, vs 118mm.

Personally, I'd be a bit nervous having more pitch in one direction than the other. Start with trying to hover inverted as a test, maybe, to see if it's enough pitch? Or a quick flip, up high, to see how it goes?

If I'm understanding right, you're going to have a weird pitch difference between positive and negative, even if you still get 0 pitch at mid-stick. It'll make for odd stick movements, at least. Don't do anything too close to the ground when you try inverted the first time
