Thumbs up Zeal 210mm for TREX 250, I like them.

Hi Zeal and HeliFreaks

Decided to start a thread here about your 210mm blades for the TRex 250. I wanted to comment how much we like these, but I can't find any thread on them here but the "they don't fit the X2 right" thread.

We (my son and I) got a few pairs a couple weeks ago, and are VERY happy with them. Fit well, look great, and do add lift (lighter feeling disk, not dramatic, but defiantly noticeable) compare to the Align CF blades we usually run. The 3 pairs we have tried so far have all come perfectly balanced.

Here is a picture with the Zeal 210mm on my DFC Pro 250. Not a good picture, of the blades (I took it to show the servos), but it is the only picture with the Zeal blades I have available online right now. I like all threads to have pictures of Helicopters, and for some reason they don't seem to appreciate Heli pictures over in my Motorcycle forum

I know the T250 is not that popular, so just wanted you guys (and girls?) to know that we really like these and appreciate you supporting the 250.

Can you post a side by side picture of stock and Zeal blades, please? I want to see the difference b/w both.

Thanks!

Sure There's not a huge difference, just 5mm, but I find it noticeable.

As you can see the Align blades are well worn, and the Zeal are fairly new. Not that that changes their length or anything.

Got a pair of the same color myself, got 5 packs in on them and they are great! Cant really say the same about my 325mm ones but these are very nice for the little 250!

Looks great alyon18!.

Glad to hear someone else is liking these blades. I've read enough about the 325 mm blades, that I was wondering if we got a "rare good batch". But we have received a 2nd order of these (son wanted green for his 250) and all 4 sets seem well made and blemish free. They are a little expensive for 250 blades, but all 6 sets we have so far meet the phrase "well made premium product" to me.

I have 2 small bubbles or raises in the leading edge of one of the blades but really not enough to complain about. All in all I am happy w these z eals compared to my 325s. As for those, ill just leave them set aside and use them as spares after I file down some of the root.

There's a lot of places in the US that carry them, Such as HeliDirect:
http://www.helidirect.com/blades/main-rotor-blades/zeal

But when I ordered ours (both times) I couldn't find the 210 mm in stock anywhere but:
http://zealblades.com/shop/advanced_...=210mm&x=0&y=0

I just started flying my T-rex 250 again. Had a minor touch down with my 600 while hovering. Not even a hard landing and it just exploded. I think it was a boom strike because it didn't tip over when it touched and my tail blades nor tail fin got hurt. Destroyed tons of stuff. Had my first bug attack while flying and she went in hard. Like those $60 Trex 250 crashes soo much more than the $300 T600 crash. Just wanted to know if they would fit the 250. Thanks for the info.

Sorry to hear about the 600 crash. I think you'll like the Zeal blades on your 250.

Largest I have is the 450L, and I fly it much more conservatively than my 250s, due to crash costs and yard size. I fly the 250s at home, and the 450 mainly at the club field.

Still like the Zeal 210s a lot., and have bought, ,,,. well, ..., more than I want to admit to: : There are quite a few trees in my yard.

The Zeal 210 are really the only good blades for the Trex 250. Literally they are one of the two manufacturers that make blades for it other than Align, and the Spinblades suck... lol

Thanks for the kind words. I have a T-Rex250 SE that I think I am going to set up with some new upgrades, Beast X and Flybarless head conversion, new canopy and the Zeal Blades.

yeah the last set of align 205 cf blades i bought had a weight difference of .8 grams. its a lot for a supposedly matched set of blades. theyre only 10g each. theones from infinity hobby arent that far out and theyre only 6 bucks a set.

zeal 210 that came with an oxy2, balancing is horrid.. both blades are full of tape to get them even. im going to have to shave them somewhere to get rid of the tape.
