Default DX9 Channel Input Configuration

Hi all

I'm trying to tune out a slight tail wag on my heli so I'm adjusting the Gyro gain on the transmitter. I have the Gyro set to the Gear channel and associated with the Flight Mode switch. I'm not seeing much change as I change the gyro gain values so I'm wondering if my radio is setup correctly.

I do see the Channel Input Configuration for the Gear is INH. Is this correct?

you can set the gyro to "on" This will not allow you run multiple gains but you will know forsure it is working. i usually set mine to channel "D" when im tuning in, but then change to on once i find that sweet spot.

In Input Config you will see Gear as Inh.

If you setup Gyro config in the Gyro menu it should be correct.
Check Monitor to see if the values are being correctly applied.

Its really hard to try to tell what may be going on with so few details. What you think is a wag may not be gain related at all.It could be binding or a sticky linkage or something else.

What I do is go to Trim Setup and put Gyro trim on one of the trimmers.
Make sure trims are set to FMode. You can then trim the gyro values inflight without having to dink around with the menu.

Again if your not sure whether the values are being applied where you think they should be always look at Monitor. This shows the final output from the Tx going to the Rx.

If something isnt working the way you expect and you think its a programming issue please attach the SPM (model) file here so I can look and see what you have going on. Its much easier than playing 20 questions back and forth trying to figure out what you have done.

You answered my question and thanks for the tips. I'll investigate further.
