How to copt files into the radio
Just picked up a 14MZ this radio this weekend and trying to copy a helicopter setup. The files are on the card but I can not see them in the radio. Any ideas?
Thanks Jason |

Are the files in the MDL folder on the card? When the card is new you need to boot up the radio and the radio will create 4 files. MDL, WAV, WMA, and BMP. Just put the .mdl file into the MDL folder.
* Now when you turn on the radio select transmit no. * Select the model select * Push the location button once and it will change from the radio icon to DP for the memory card * Now you should be able to see the contents of the memory card in the MDL folder. You can use the file from right their or copy it to your radio. When you choose copy you will have the choice of copying to your radio or the memory card. Hope that helps you out. |

The files are in MDL on the card. Purchase the radio used from a funfly this weekend. When the radio comes on it reconizes the card I then go to transmit and press no, linkage menu, model select and location and change the radio to DP and no files are found.

well I would say the files are corrupt, or maybe the card is bad? They should be their. Sounds like you are doing it correctly. Sorry that was not much help. You may try to download another mdl file from here on the list and try it. If that does not work there is the definite possibility the card is not working right.
