Default PL 6 preset questions

I recently picked up a PL6 and today thought I would do some software changes....putting in my own pack present information. So what I was going to do is a balance setup for accurate and quick charge for each battery. I need 6 slots. I am not following the manual very well or missing something. If I understand it the Library sets cannot be modified. So How do I add more Lipo's to the presets? There is a mix of lipos and different battery types. I would like to remove the different battery types as I could always pull from the library any time I want. I see each preset can be modified with information of my liking. Not sure if it is because it is Sunday or what but I can't get my head around this.

The PC connection and free software unlock many cool features. Some of what you are describing can be done with the console. But from your questions, I would skip that and go straight to the PC software. See some examples here:

Thanks for the info. I have the USB adapter and have been in the software. Is there a way to add additional presets or change existing from say a lead acid to a lipo?

Sure. But if you want a LiPo preset where the Lead Acid preset is now, you'd use copy and paste from the edit menu. Copy an existing LiPo preset and then paste over the top of the Lead Acid preset.

You can copy a live preset to another live preset. Or you can copy a preset from the library presets to a live preset. You can always get the builtin presets from the library. You can even do that from the console so you can do it at the field without a PC. Instructions in the manual.
