That is not a plane. That is a rocket with big wings. I would love to hear it in person.

How about this.... it can handle a MW 44 turbine!

It's a Schuebeler model so it's not cheap..... it would scream with an EDF setup too! Ducted Fans has a 110mm EDF setup that would rock in this plane. Tell Morris I sent you!

wow! only $1788.99. Why not $2000. Who the hell can afford that thing?
I rather buy a stryker and adapted the ducted fan to it. |

I know... guess somebody can afford to buy this stuff. I know I can't!
However, you can cheat like I do...... buy wing replacements for a Great Planes Slinger and strip them... you now have a really nicely swept standard NACA airfoil foam core. There are a lot of affordable 70 to 90mm EDF's out there... Wemotek, HET, RCLander or good ol' Hobby King.... make a fuse and put it together! I'm working on two twins using this plan.... one prop, one EDF.... when I get a chance there be build threads. OR..... try something like this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=15534 or http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=15533 (which is a HET Super Sniper) Both comparatively affordable... You have to virtually bleed money for real turbines anyway!

Also.....
If you're just looking for pulse quickening performance on a budget....... Get a GP Slinger kit.... put an E-flite Six-Series 2700Kv on it with an APC 4.75x4.75 prop, a 45A esc, 2200Mah 3s 30-40c pack (Zippy's will work); a couple good servos and have a blast!!! You'll break 100mph... it's not 300, but you'll be surprised how intense it is anyway!

Yeah, I guess we'll just have to wait until they come down in price. That could be a long time. My 1 year old will be flying his nuclear turbine powered MCX and saying wow my dad flew NITRO. How archaic!

The Viper is a very nice model.... a copy of the Sapac kit, more or less. Doesn't fly well fully dressed according to the RCGroups thread, but bungee launched with only ailerons and elevators a nice choice..... just got mine last week and haven't started on it yet.
