Default Where to buy lynx motor?

Where did you guys buy your lynx motors for the 300x? I can order it directly from lynx, but since they're based in Vietnam I'm not sure how long that would take?

Buy from Lynx, spend $100 and it's free 3 day shipping.

You are so close to TMK hobbies I would not even try to order direct from Lynx. Mark is a great guy and the customer service is second to none. Most of the time if you call TMK the owner answers the phone.

I have ordered from this guy numerous times. Good guy easy to work with and goes out of his way to help.

I wanted the lynx 300x one way, just the one way he didn't have any in stock and neither did lynx at the time. He had lynx drop ship a one-way with main gear to me and I mailed the main gear back to him. He even sent a prepaid envelope to mail it back to him. That's A+ service in my book.

If it's the time and not shipping costs. For what it's worth, I get my orders 3 days after they ship. Shipping out can be between a day or 2 depending on how busy they are and day of week ordered due to time zone difference.

I put a order in on a Sun or Mon. I generally have it by Friday. Following Mon the latest.

Is the lynx motor better than the scorpions?

Dunno, I'm actually using it for my 300 cfx, and only certain motors will fit WITH modifications, so it was between the lynx and scorpion for me. My lynx is set to arrive on Wednesday, but from what I've seen online the lynx required slightly less modification and I believe the motor shaft is supported by 3 bearings rather than 2 (supposedly better for running slant gears) and the overall specs seemed better to me. I could be wrong about all of the above though, so don't take my word for it. Haha

Oh, and for anyone wondering, I ended up ordering directly from lynx. I looked at the other sites suggested, but I needed other lynx parts as well and even thought those sites had the motor slightly cheaper some parts like the 2 pairs of carbon fiber landings skids I ordered were $25+ on those sites and while shipping was free, it was via usps and "if lost they were not responsible unless I paid MORE for insurance"

There probably wouldn't have been a problem, but to date I've had USPS "lose" over 5 packages. UPS? None. Like I said, probably not a problem but it was a better deal all around directly from lynx.

lynx direct had them for 19 bucks and my order was over $100 anyways, so I got free 3-day shipping (UPS).I ordered the parts on Saturday and today (Monday) the order shipped and the UPS tracking shows it will be delivered by Wednesday, so cannot complain about that!
