I've not been flying it lately because I am waiting on new lipos for it but I sure will check those vibe readings!

The V-Bar vibration tool isn't quite as sensitive, but I'd be curious to see what it says.
I know you have an SK-720 hanging around somewhere. You might just stick it on your 550SX frame and spin it up on the bench to compare readings.

Good idea! Still I am not the type who looks for problems I don't have, but in the spirit of fellowship I'll take a look.

I just need to wait for John to come back into Argentina like a ninja carrying my otherwise impossible to import LiPos. And many servos. And a mini Vbar. And... you get the drift...

All I know is that I have never had a heli that had vibrations so bad that I couldn't use the Skookum auto-level feature. So this was a first for me. With the configuration changes I made to the RPM control on my 100LV, my 550SX is now as vibration free as I could want.

Even when it was vibrating like crazy, it flew great. It just disabled my auto-leveling because of all the vibrations.

That added useful info to the thread.

We know that we shouldn't expect to hear anything back from Marcos for at least 3 weeks.

Sorry if I missed this but have you tried the KSA mode. I believe it is for high pole count motors.

I have a friend running an Align 800MX and setting that mode makes the motor run very smooth.

It is a shame that Kontronik didn't sort this problem out for you but maybe individual cases are of no concern to them.

I adjusted the RPM Control parameters as listed in the title (-I+P+S) and the vibration issue I had is gone now. I'm tickled with the current vibration I'm seeing in flight and on the bench. It is now up to the high standards I have with all my other Kontronik ESC's and Kontronik Motors.

So I'm all set no matter what else happens and now that I understand the issue better, I have no reservations with Kontronik motors going forward.

My next heli will probably have something like a Kosmik 200 + Pyro 850. Time will tell.
