Default WOW! It does have a ton of power!

so after finally resolving all my head and tail issues I've been flying the 3D Plus yesterday and enjoying it very much. I have an OS 55 and OS Powerboost pipe combo in it and it is supposed to produce decent power I've heard. So for the first few flights it was ok but nothing spectacular. Weather was kind of hot and humid. Well at some point the temperature dropped and it became a little windy. As soon as that happened the heli started flying like it's on crack! I could not believe how fast and powerful it became because out of 3 gallons I ran through it so far it was the first time I felt that power. Well that means I haven't yet learned to tune the engine properly. But at least now I know what it is capable of and I am liking it. I mean all I can say is WOW! 3D Plus ROCKS!

LOL ... I'm running an OS55 Hyper with a Funtech B320 pipe.

It also seems to really 'break-in' at a certain point in addition to the tuning. Part of the 'power' is that this heli is so light when compared to others in its class.

I do wish you guys would stop making these posts regarding how well the 3D Plus flies. I am getting tempted to get one and I am running out of space to store helicopters.

The video of Mr. Ketelhut's machine with the screaming motor almost pushed me over the edge a while back.

(self control, self control, self control...)

I just converted to FBL w/ a 3GX, which lets me use 2X satellites and has a built in Gov. So, really lightened things up. My AUW is now 7.2lbs w/o fuel. That's pretty darn light!

Cullen, I'll be running a similar setup, but with the SK720.

And yes .... you all need to visit your favourite Compass dealer and buy a 3DPlus now! (*Jedi mind trick*)

I have a CY ATGv2 brand new in box, never used that I'm probably going to let go right away.
