You mean the slave connection must be buffered with a seperate battery or just connect both master and slave connections to power the rx in parallel?

Its much better to use 2 cables with the jive and if you like also a buffer pack, or just set the BEC to 5.6V and there will be no problems.

I have TDR/MPXLE/Stretch logo all on 12S.

Why is 5.6V significant?

How do you wire up the buffer pack when using both cables to power the rx?

Just plug a buffer pack into any spare channel in the RX.
The 5.6V is a good number because once you have savox or 8717 servos etc or high current draw servos the back emf created can be a higher voltage than its output and so the BEC circuit shuts off, kontronik released a statement about this.\
On 5.6V no problem, on 6V its a problem. Unless you run BLS servos then 6V is no drama.

Yes, master to TH and slave to a free channel.

BUT NOT ON THE AR7100/AR7100R RECEIVER! It will burn.

OK, I did some searching based on your info. It seems like a lot of people are saying to use both master, slave and a 800mAh NiMh buffer pack plugged into the rx. To be honest though, if I have to use a buffer pack just to run my servos at 6V then the idea of using a 2s rx lipo and runing HV servos at 7.4 seems more attractive.

I have yet to buy the rx for my Logo 700. Which Spektrum rx would be best for 6V with Jive, master, slave + buffer pack? Which would be best for 2s lipo and HV servos?

2S lipo and HV servos = AR7100 (thatīs what i think)
Jive, master, slave = No 2S lipo. An uregulated receiver. I donīt know if you can use a step down with lipo.

It depends, if you want to use the BEC with no buffer pack its fine on 5.6V for 8717 etc or 6V for BLS servos. You will not notice a .4V drop in voltage, speed is not king with vbar so do not worry about that.
If you want convenience use the internal BEC, if not use a buffer pack with it or a 2S lipo by itself.
The way I see it adding a buffer pack with a BEC is like running one with a 2S lipo, anything can fail at any time.

As much as I like a chat, this topic is about the release date for the Logo 700. The last two pages are mostly covering BEC's.

I would like info on the release date please.

Not until gear ratios are known.

Yup exactly, and HONESTLY I do not know anything of this model, I wish I did but it is all pretty hush hush on this one.

The outline I got was that it will be huge, can take way more power than what's common, it's a 3D machine... and btw it will fly straight ahead too
Of course that doesn't say much... and I'm eager to see one in the air or better in my fleet

In other words, just what I asked for last year. Better buy one when it comes out then - I owe it to Mikado.
