Its about time, and not only 800 size, ive been flying my yy rewinded one on 14 s in l700, its perfect match. A rewinded one similar to mine had been quoted by banshee guys as in 4535 scorpion class performance wise but importantly the larger bearings last vs only a couple flights on scorp for extreme banshee flying.

OK thats cool.

The 500kv version will hand wound but I have no details on windings or power specs yet but as soon as they have them available I will have them to share.

Cool, I was looking at the 850-24 and going a 24S setup.
But really these just are bit longer stator over the 800 right?

Am I correct that Pyro 800 is 5025, and the 850 is 5035?

I am currently using a scorp 5035 in the E820 and its a power house but I would rather a nice pyro in there, 850-40 would be perfect.

No 800 is 5020, 850, 5025, i havent flown 5035, but again if i may quote on banshee factory pilot, if the rewind 850 is similar to 4535 it will be stronger than the multistrand 5035. The stock one, cant say. But for 3 d it is much lighter so you may have more perceivable pwr.
Personally i think it will be awesome on the 820 and 14 s, you can only go 24 if you send me a 24 cell esc for evaluation purposes with the motor i will rewind for you foc, off course only motor will be returned

Stolla you may want to pm Chaos from archeli forum. He can build custom 24s ESC's he might do a deal with you if you ask nicely for testing purposes.

Didnt the guys have to modify the stator or something to get it too fit in banshee??

I wonder what size pinion can i run to clear the motor

Dammit, I just got my 800 Comp (which has turned out to be an absolute gem, even on 12S)... Maybe I 'need' another custom wound Pyro in my life anyway.

Yes they had to mill some off the motor, it may be possible you can make it fit by using a smaller pulley as they were running very low pwm so possible. I'm tempted to send you this eflite motor 5330 size stator yy1.8 mm wire 14 pole 450 kv perfect fit in banshee 8mm shaft

I'm too chicken! I did fit it once though, you know the deal, organize me a 24 s esc and its yours
