Just added a few finishing touches to My (AEO M5) BL Nano/Mcpx Hybrid with my first real attempt at a custom canopy (def room for improvment), just now need yellow blades to complete.. or will it then look a little bit too much like a giant bee..

I really love the way this one flys outside now so will probably have to buy yet another Nano for when the mild brushless kits are out.. I can see myself owning far too many of these Nanos in only a few months time.. but they are so much fun...!

Looks like a MH swash. Looks like he replaced the center of the swash with the Nano center out of its swash so that it would work. I had thought about doing the samething but never got around to it. Good work Strangedaze.

Sorry, thats a MicroHeli Metal MCPX X swashplate (MH-MCPX012X)..... I also can't wait for a metal swash for my stock Nano too.

See these two posts below,if u want more info as it may explain a bit better this build as it is a bit of a mashup of Nano & MCPX Parts which mainly revolves around having a hybrid Nano/Mcpx MainShaft...

Hi..... Thanks, but this actually involved a slightly different approach in order to use an MCPX metal swashplate.... please see the posts above..

But If you really can't wait for a metal swash to be released I'm sure it "may" be possible to simply place a small section of carbon tube over the top of the Nano Main shaft which will allow you to then use a MCPX swashplate (but you'll then need to use shortend MCPX servo rods).. So it may be possible but not 100% straight forward...

Nicely done SpinalTap.

Where did you order your canopy from?

How long did it take?

Here's one from the TMart, USA Warehouse for $2 and free shipping.
