Default Brushless nano review and flight video in 17mph winds

Hello fellow helifreaks I'm here with another review now on the nano bl. First I would like to start by saying thank you Dylan for taking the time to make this happen. The Lord has really blessed you with great skills . Thank you.

Now let's get to it. First I like to say that the install was great. Its easy to the modders and easy for the first timers if you follow the instruction.

It took me close to 3hrs to do the install that's waiting for glue to dry, soldering to the small points and installing the motor and trimming just making sure everything is right. There was lil spot that I had a time with and that was the abs ring. I had to sand it a lil so it would fit in the original motor spot. It was just a lil to big but I rather it be to big than to small.

There some more areas that need to be trim like on the bottom of the frame near the bearing block so that the bottom brace mount sit flushed to the frame.

The other area is where the brace that mounts on the front of the frame. The first thing that u want to do is to CA the brace the frame on the left side with front of the frame facing you let dry. Then on the backside of start trimming away the frame until you hit the brace.

Now for my throttle settings. I like to start all of my helis in stunt mode. I have set my up in norm 0 across the board stunt 1 68% stunt 2 75 %. So how I arm my nano bl esc is with my stunt switch (flight mode switch). I do it this way is that I don't confuse myself with my other helis .

Flight time with the stock batteries is 3mins 10 secs on 75% throttle and 68% you get about.

Flying at 68% a lil stronger than stock and 65% felt like stock a least to me. 70% and above is a beast . I am going to try some mad dog batteries that we carry at the LHS to see how they do.

Now all that said this thing is sick

In the video I am having fun with this thing in the wind and it handle it well

Now for the guys who dont want to solder or work on it at all pm NCcreig and he will get you going.

Now for the ones who are waiting for their kits you will love it. And the one who is still debating about getting stop debating and order it.

That's all I have to say . Thank u again Dylan.

Thanks for the video! I can't believe the wind (you can hear it!) had little effect on it...and only at 75% throttle???!!!! Nice!

Can't wait to do mine once my regular motor fails.

Who says you cant fly the Nano in the wind!!!!

I have the reg Mcp-x and when the wind is blowing it's the only one of my micros (planes) i can fly in the wind.

Nice Job!

Very nice, I am one of those intimidated by the soldering but may give it a shot. How would the mcpx landing gear and batteries behave in a bl nano setup I wonder? 240mah should yield some better flight times I would think, and the power should compensate for the added weight?

The MCPx skids work fine. You just have to squish them in place. I converted mine this weekend and flew with a few MCPx packs and it worked great. I just made a little adapter to change the plug types.

Great power, wow!

Do not get this power with my BL Nano with the HP03s, not by far.
Have to check settings, I guess.
But I am not sure, if my HP03s (bought more than a year ago) has also 13500 kv or if there was a version with even lower kv?

Anyway, seeing your Nano "mild" I know, I have to change some settings in mine.
