Talking Stock V2 paddle Mod

So Hank has always said he doesnt like super paddles because they balloon to much durring FFF. I never really noticed to much, I guess because I suck ....

Until lately, I guess Im getting better.. anyways I have been getting more and more negative feedback from my super paddles...

SOOO I decided since Hank runs the stockers maybe I should too, but without the weights... I couldnt find anywhere were he shows how he made them work with no weights so this is what I came up with...for now.

I took a little 4mm set screw and drilled a hole on center ( in a lathe) a hair bigger than 2mm so the flybar will have a nice snug fit.

Then I threaded it into the paddle all the way, so that it is bottomed out and flush.

Now FOR NOW I will just slide the flybar in, and maybe put just a dab of CA on it to hold during flight but will still break loose if I need to get it off.

I plan on drill and taping a hole for a set screw in the future, but this will work for now jsut to see how they fly.

This eliminate most of the weight, but since I am using a steal set screw it still have some fat to trim. I will likely try a plastic one next week, this was just a quick little rig.

Can't you order V1 paddles, I think those came without the weights.

I only looked at 3-4 sites but they didn't have them, I went to the official Esky site and they are discontinued.

I'm sure they are available somewhere, but I have like 4 extra sets of v2 paddles that I won't use unless I mod them.

I tried the super paddles, and they were way to unstable in my opinion.
